Seitan – Marathi – Gouvernetou Monastery

Seitan Limania is less than 30 minutes drive from Chania. A private car trip to Seitan is exactly what you need if you don’t want long drives on the road by car. When we reach Seitan you will be amazed by the natural fjord formation of the two hills with the sea in between. The view is stunning! There will be a descend of a hill to reach this secluded place, so you will have to bring your sneakers and hats to descend to Seitan. We will procure you with local homemade Cretan snacks, since there is not a canteen on the spot. After you will have enjoyed the sea, we will take you to Gouvernetou Monastery for a tour to the religious places with churches inside the caves. There you will have the chance to meet the monks and buy the local products of the Monastery.
